Very convenient location for Black Hills attractions (1/4 mile to Bear Country). Campground seems to be geared mostly to tents, pop-ups and travel trailers. Very limited number of Big Rig sites and most of those face a heavily traveled, major highway. Very hilly location with uneven sites. Good food at complimentary pancake breakfast each morning. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great setting at the base of Devils Tower. Wide gravel sites with grass and full hook-ups. Lots of family activities including evening campfire, nightly showing of Close Encounters movie, breakfast and lunch restaurant and gift shop on site. Wonderful views in all directions.
This is a great park for a night or a week. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful view of one of several well-stocked fishing lakes. There are several good walking trails and a well stocked camp store. We are planning another stay on our return trip to Florida.
This is a very pretty county park with level concrete pads, lots of shade and plenty of open space between sites. Tables and grills are provided and there is a great walking trail which connects to a restored historic town exhibit area. With only electric hook-ups it is fine for self-contained RVs. We will stay here again on our return trip to Florida.
